I ran across this artist simply by going to college. (Trust me; I was very close to doing a Yeezy “College Dropout” move).
Orie, a true MC at heart is from St. Louis. He has just released a mixtape hosted by DJ Continental titled What A Black Man Wants. This project was released on his label D.E.M.O. (Yes, he’s a businessman). If you’re a fan of hip-hop and conscious lyrics this mixtape is most definitely worth adding to your iTunes collection. My favourites from this mixtape are “Let It Rain”, “Shawty”, and “Untitled”.
