Dystopia Cornucopia is a collaborative project between two Inland Empire, CA natives; emcee Faimkills and producer Captain (2nd place winner of the 2010 Red Bull Big Tune in Los Angeles, CA). This project serves as the first effort from Faimkills on the independent label, Black Cloud Music, and Captain’s first time producing an entire piece of work.

Dystopia Cornucopia is a conceptual EP about the post-Apocalyptic landscape of hip-hop, with off-kilter beats, lyrical content influenced by albums such as De La Soul’s “3 Feet High And Rising”, and E1-P’s “Fantastic Damage”; with guest appearances by the entire Black Cloud Music family.

Heyday Super Shift Ballistic

Posted in Sneakers with tags , , , on August 3, 2010 by The Goodie Bag

Later this month, Heyday will be relaunching their Super Shift Ballistic’s.  These are in a monotone colour story from sole to laces in five colours (vapor grey, black, clover, denim, and safety orange), and feature a removable translucent polymer ankle strap which can be adjusted to be worn multiple ways.  The tongue can be snapped to the collar, and features Heyday’s signature setback eyestay and integrated tongue design.  Anatomically molded, anti-microbial memory foam footbed and full terry cloth lining only compliment the rest of Heyday’s premium materials and features.  Pick these up at finer retailers for only $115.00 USD mid-August.
