In 2009, Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue Magazine came up with the idea of “Fashion’s Night Out” which allows shoppers across the globe to come out to in-store events worldwide to help the global economy in an exclusive after-hours event.

V Magazine issue 67 is the New York Issue and features native New Yorkers Marc Jacobs and Lady Gaga.  The image is one of two covers, the other featuring Marina Abramovic and Tyson Ballou.  Both shots are part of the ‘New York!’ editorial, photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Nicola Formichetti, focusing on famous New Yorkers and New York lifestyle.  Other notable New Yorkers featured in the spread include Mark Ronson, Chloe Sevigny, and Debbie Harry. V Magazine 67 hits newsstands today.
