Our good friend Tommey Walker has put together “Crazydope”, which is one of the best compilation mixtapes in a long time of all-original work from some of the largest names in music to dope up-and-comers.  Tommey Walker is one of the nicest and most recognized graphic designers in the game, and is the resident graphic designer here at The Goodie Bag.  He has worked with the likes of Big Sean, Wale, Mike Posner, Jared Evan, 9^th Wonder, and many more.

Ro Spit Setting Out To South By SouthWest

Since releasing his OH S#!T Project, which can be found at www.rospit.bandcamp.com, Ro Spit has been everywhere from NYTimes.com to Fortune Magazine. His buzz has quickly spread through the internet as premier sites such as Hypebeast, 2dopeboyz, and Nahright have taken notice. As a result of his recent success Ro Spit has been invited to perform along with some of the best the music industry has to offer.
Ro Spit will be heading down to Austin, TX for one of the music industry’s premier showcases, South By Southwest. Throughout his five day stay, March 16th-20th, you can locate Ro Spit in many of the venues both performing and taking part in media obligations (Show schedule listed above). For magazines, websites, blogs, newspapers, and television/radio shows there are still opportunities to coordinate interviews/media sessions. Detroit rapper Big Sean has been building up quite the buzz on the rap scene since his signing to G.O.O.D. Music in 2007.

Since the release of his Finally Famous Mixtapes Vol. 1 and 2 he has really made a name for himself and brought a lot of attention back to the Michigan Hip-Hop scene.

Another track worth checking out features a verse by Big Sean on Chip Tha Ripper’s “The Cleveland Show” also featuring fellow rising star Curren$y.

Big Sean Weekend Recap #5

Damnn Big Sean is definitely livin’ the life!  In his Weekend Recap #5 webisode, he heads to Chicago to stop by RSVP Gallery to pick-up his custom diamond “Pow” necklaces from Verbal’s luxury end of Ambush Jewelry, Antonio Murphy.  While he’s in the area he has to go to Purdue University for a performance.  It was probably a very long weekend for him, but a great one at the same time.  Btw, if anyone knows the song that’s playing in the car, be sure to let me know.
