DJ AM x Nike Dunk High Premium

When Adam Goldstein, known to most of the world as DJ AM, passed away several months ago, the sneaker community was greatly affected.  As an avid collection, AM had amassed a collection only dreamt about by most.  With over 900 pairs of sneakers in his collection of some of the rarest and most exclusive sneakers on the planet, he was truly an idol to the sneaker community and a true sneakerhead.  And while his eBay auction for charity has been your best bet at grabbing a pair of his sneakers, we finally get a glimpse of his official collaboration with Nike.  DJ AM collaborated with Nike on a pair of Nike Dunk High Premium sneakers.

eBay x Deckstar x UNDFTD Present: The DJ AM Charity Sneaker Auction

 

DJ AM has been collecting sneakers for almost 10 years (over 900 pairs) and was respected in the sneaker world for his expertise in the subject matter.  The DJ AM Memorial Fund has gotten together with eBay, Deckstar and Undefeated to organize the DJ AM Charity Auction.  All proceeds of the sales will go to organizations and projects committed to addressing issues of addiction and recovery.

The auction starts later today at 4:30 PM PST.  New sneakers will be added to the auction every night until the first week of December, so make sure to check back on a regular basis.

The Hundreds Magazine Launch.

Having shown an affinity for print magazines for quite some time, Bobby and Ben Hundreds and The Hundreds offer a preview of the upcoming premiere magazine which features Olivia Munn on the cover.  Within the pages you’ll find the following content: “Inside you’ll find the regular columns, new Ask Yasi (with DJ AM (RIP), Dom Kennedy, and Dave Choe), A Day in the Life of… ynoT?, Umi Says, Ben’s food reviews, and my (somewhat questionable) music reviews. R.I.P. DJ AM (March 30, 1973 – August 28, 2009).

DJ AM was found dead at his New York City apartment at around 5:20 P.M. on Friday, August 28, 2009.

Our thoughts our with you and your family.  You were a true Sneakerhead and amazing DJ.
