Donnis x Jim Jones x XV Event Recap

Last night at Highline Ballroom in NYC, XV and Donnis opened up for Chiddy Bang.  But you won’t see any pictures of Chiddy Bang, unfortunately we had to leave before they were able to come out.  Donnis and XV both did their things, and it was somewhat of a pleasant surprise when Donnis brought out Jim Jones to perform for a little bit.  Personally Donnis was our favourite part of the show.  The energy from the crowd was dying down because of the previous opening acts, but he came out lit the stage up.  Another dope show.

XV Signs To Warner Bros.

Our long-time friend XV announced this morning that he signed a recording contact with Warner Bros.  XV announced the deal this morning on Hot 97, which you can listen to right here.  It’s great to see artists who you support, making their dreams a reality.  XV is currently gearing up for the release of his highly-anticipated mixtape Vizzy Zone, as well as preparing to embark on a national tour with Chiddy Bang and Donnis.

Jugrnaut x 10.DEEP Present “Pop Them Thangs”

Well-known Chicago retailer / private-label brand Jugrnaut are working with 10.DEEP to present the “Pop Them Thangs” event which features performances from Donnis, Mic Terror, and Dave Coresh and music by Million $ Mano, Ray Protege, Manny Muscles, Matt Boy White, Stefan Ponce, and hosted by Awdazcate.  Head over to Lincoln Hall at 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 18th with $10.00 bucks and have a great night or pay $7.00 in advance.  The event is all-ages so don’t worry about being too young.

Ever since Donnis dropped his 10.DEEP sponsored “Diary Of An ATL Brave” mixtape back in the Summer I’ve been a huge supporter and following his work really closely.  So far all I can see is growth from this ATL-native.  Definitely keep your eye on him as he’s got some very big things planned for 2010.

Donnis x 10.DEEP West Coast “Sexy Time” Tee

Be prepared for a good mixture of Cali Love and southern hospitality as 10.Deep brings Fool’sGold Record’s newest signee Donnis to the Golden State. This west coast swing begins October 16th in LA with 10.Deep and Donnis flooding Fairfax’s fitted emporium Hall of Fame with music and beer. The performance will be followed by a swanky after-party at the Sotifel’s Stone Rose and a tour in San Francisco the next day at Milk Bar.
