Despite its aggressive, literal definition, “Go Kill Yourself”, in the eyes of 5th Column and Dearly Departed, is an iconoclastic call to action of sorts. According to the brands, the metaphoric “instructions” translate to a facetious nod toward the arrogantly ignorant. With both brands building their empires upon satirical symbolisms, Go Kill Yourself or GKY simply stands for the ultimate death of the ego and the thrill of the kill.
