Kanye West presents the video of the new single “Power“. The next album of the rapper / producer is still nameless right now. The video is produced by the Italian Marco Brambilla and is inspired by the Sistine Chapel in Rome. Kanye yesterday said: “It’s not a video, it’s a painting”.
I think this is one of the greatest music videos of our time period. This video has a plethora of various installations and inspirations from the very artwork of the great Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel.
Marco Brambilla created a special piece for Kanye called POWER; it features a surreal environment all moving in slow motion. Once again Kanye has done it, he’s literally changing the way music videos are made now and possibly in the future.
This music video is not just your normally video but a MASTERPIECE. Be sure to check out the premiere today on MTV at 11p (EST)/10p (CST). Most likely we will have it featured here as well.
It was rumoured that Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Consequence, and Kanye West’s albums were all supposed to be releasing on September 14th. We have now found out that Kanye West’s and Kid Cudi’s albums are expected to release in October. No word yet, whether the release date for Consequence’s or Big Sean’s albums have been moved, but we now have a look at the unofficial tracklisting for Big Sean’s debut album, Finally Famous.
