The huge and very popular Los Angeles-based clothing brand / retailer American Apparel is suffering from a very steep sales and manufacturing slump. They are also defaulting on a lot of their loans and might have to close down some shops to stay in business. If this happens the company might only have the liquidity to stay in business for the next 12 months.

Gourmet presents their Summer 2010 footwear collection. The lookbook was shot in Venice by Ron Moon and love the look of it is just spectacular. The footwear is also looking great, including canvas styles dyed with water based ink. Also they present some shoes with vegetable and tanned leathers, giving them a real premium look. The UNO returns this season in premium Epi leather. All in all a very solid offering from the LA based brand.
