Parisian designer label Damir Doma has just released these leather lace-ups as part of their Fall / Winter Collection. The avant-garde design features two waxed lacing systems, a premium leather upper in an all black colourway, finished with white leather lining. The shoe is made complete with a gum sole and is available now in-store and the newly opened online store at Hostem.
Some new styles out of Lanvin have hit select retailers for the high-fashion house’s 2010 Spring / Summer collection. Leading the way are two sneaker-based offerings, a high-top featuring a patterned silk upper and a more subtle low-top with a texturized captoe design. A third design features a deck shoe upper fused with a more sneaker-like outsole. The multi-coloured upper combines various materials including perorated leather and suede. New releases from Maison Martin Margiela have just shipped to finer retailers. Consisting mostly of suits and coats, the collection takes on a clean design aesthetic with classic colour usage. A set of wallets rounds out January’s launch of Maison’s Spring / Summer line. All goods are now available at Oki-Ni.

The Mega 4, with a whopping 36 complications inside, is the 4th in the Franck Muller Aeternitas watch series of high complex watches. There aren’t a lot of details out yet, but we do know that 25 of the 36 complications are visible on the dial and the movement has 1,483 parts. Some highlights include a monopusher split-second chronograph, a 1,000 year calendar, complex sonnerie chiming functions, multiple time zones and moon phase indicator. The watch took five years to design. $2,700,000.

We take a first look at the upcoming Marc Jacobs Spring / Summer 2010 Sneaker Collection, as well as some of the shoes that we liked. Next season a super high top will be introduced, featuring two zippers. It comes in two colorways with canvas uppers. A solid mid top comes in black and white with a check pattern over the upper. The collection also features two solid suede leather shoes with an added strap, making for an interesting look.
