There was a huge rumour that this shoe was not going to be released for whatever reason. These will not only be one of the top New Balance’s to drop this year, but if all goes well, these will be one of the top sneakers to drop this year. The Gore-Tex exterior of this sneaker makes this shoe more resistant to wear-and-tear. Expect these to hit retailers in July.
A look into some new New Balance 2010 spring collection releases features the CM1001 as it undergoes a “Tropical Cocktail” treatment. On a similar note to the “Hawaii” H574s of just recently, two models include some relatively bright colourways. Balanced out by the use of gray suede, the CM1001 features a tooling originally seen on the trail runner 575 model.
A New Balance Japan designed CM996 is seen here with a tri-coloured gradient style. A mixture of colours and materials incorporates understated details including a perforated leather toebox and a black patent heel. Available now at select New Balance retailers.
Atmos hooks up with New Balance to work on the CM996. The outcome is a wildly colored rainbow sneaker, which features houndstooth patterns, rainbow patterns and overall a multitude of colors and materials. The tongue tag comes oversized, reading “Atmos”.
