Here is a trailer to the new skate video called Elephant Direct brought to you by WeSC, Adidas Skateboarding, and Color Magazine.
This video premiered in Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. It premiered this past Wednesday at weekly Power Hour Battle Of The Barrics night in Ottawa. During this preimiere we were able to talk with one of the editors from Color Magazine; check their site to see more detailed features on this movie and the skaters in it here.
This is a video by Genesis, it’s an older one but I love the feel of it. Just yesterday I was at a vintage / streetwear sale called “Hand Down Your Pants” in Ottawa. It was a real cool setting; melo underground indie music. The crowd was really mixed – hipsters, streetwear enthusiasts, hippies, etc. I met this one French girl who was all about traveling the world and art and was just dope in general. Played her this video and she told me that shes been jamming to it ever since, so I figured I’d post it for everyone to enjoy.
We’ve got a sneak peak at BadHabits Clothing new release for their second storyline season. Each shirt is connected and part of a story season and this will be the shirt to kick-off the second. As usual with BadHabits these are limited to only 50 produced and individually numbered. “B.L.E.M.” is a word heavily used in the Greater Toronto Area that people use after some high times. “Being Lifted Every Minute” can also mean being in good spirits or having confidence, take it how you want. The BadHabits “B.L.E.M.” tees release this Friday on BadHabits online store.

The first v-neck release from Ottawa-based brand BadHabits is a lot more minimalistic than previous releases from the brand. Starting in fall the brand will be split into two lines, the “BadHabits No Regrets” collection where all limited edition numbered items will be, and BadHabits which will be more widely available. Here is a sneak peek of a few of the pictures from a recent photoshoot.
