ESSO x Woody’s Produce – “Growing Pains” Session [Video]

While out in Los Angeles working on The Anti-Socialite mixtape, Woody and ESSO filmed a piece for a television pilot which is still in the works. The session that they filmed for the pilot ended up being the session that they recorded “Growing Pains” in.

Inspired by one of the greatest pieces of New York cinema ever created, The Anti-Socialite’s Guide To New York is your welcome back to the Empire State of Mind.  It’s not a welcome back in the “let’s bring New York back” sense, but more of a welcome back to the locals who may have forgotton for a second why New York holds the place that it does in the eyes to the rest of the world.  The video was directed by Puma, and was written and narrated by ESSO. 

The Anti-Socialite drops later today (Wednesday, May 5th, 2010).  If you’re in New York, be sure to head to the release party and celebrate with the whole Y&I team and extended family.
