Here’s a video of Wale telling Greg Street he was supposed to give him a pair of Paris Nike Dunks (resell price $3,000 -  $4,500) at V-103.  It’s funny to watch them go back and forth.  Not seen in the video, but the convo resulted into Street telling Wale if he can get Street’s twitter followers to 100k by Aug 25th, he will give him the Dunks at Wale’s show with J.Cole in ATL. – The Shoe Game

Heineken x GoodWood NYC – “Heineken Inspire” Tour Custom Jewelry

One of the industry’s most watched jewelry designers, GoodWood, has made a splash with its Jesus piece and is keeping things going with intricate wood-carved pendants that they label is know for.  As with any industry these days, when a designer or brand has finally “made it”, collaboration requests come pilling in, and with GoodWood it’s no exception.

GoodWood has customized pieces for Heineken’s “Heineken Inspire” Tour, an open event featuring some of the hottest artists and DJs of today including Wale, Fabolous, Cold War Kids, The Hold Stready, Matt & Kim, Joel Madden, and more.  The tour kicked off this past weekend in Miami with Fabolous and Wale performing and launching the collaboration.  This collaboration sports the Heineken logo and the Heineken bottle carved as wooden pendants and pins.

The tour will be hitting other cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City.  Aside from new tour dates, there will also be other limited edition product collaborations to come, so stay tuned.
