Each summer, Chicago festivals offer iconic settings, and undeniable mainstream, alternative, and indie acts. But Midwest’s most fervent and insatiable music fans beg for a blend of the flavours offered at these fests, and at gatherings from Indio, California to Brooklyn, New York. Enter “Summers Last Stand,” the inaugural North Coast Music Festival, descending upon Union Park in Chicago, IL this Labour Day Weekend!
From September 3rd – 5th, Chicago’s favourite independent producers and worthwhile charities welcome the world’s electronic, house, jamband, indie, and hip-hop communities to Union Park for a line-up that continues to grow. 3 Days, 35+ bands, for $35/day. A portion of all ticket sales will go to support Urban Initiatives, a Chicago-based non-profit organization that runs a health and education soccer program in fourteen Chicago Public Schools and continues to grow.
The Goodie Bag has linked on as an official sponsor and we’re really excited to be a part of such a great event in Chicago. Make sure you head over to their site to check out all the line-up information, schedule, FAQ, and to pick yourself up some tickets for today and tomorrow.
